It never gets boring

I was warmly welcomed when I joined TRASER. The first day was a big "wow" moment for me - there was so much to take in, especially with all the training being in German. But things never get boring. Tasks that felt boring at other companies are different here. I’m always excited to learn and discover new things. I’m really enjoying the training and there’s never a dull moment. That’s really special - and cool!

The spirit of teamwork at TRASER

What I like about TRASER is that we don’t just think about work. That’s why I said: Let’s meet up [...]. It’s a great way to get to know each other better. We’ve been working together in the office for a few months now, and I believe it really makes a difference when you get along well outside of work as well. This later strengthens our teamwork on the job.

Jonas Faber - Consultant
A company right on your doorstep

I’ve lived in Kiel for six years, and funny enough, I hadn’t heard of TRASER before. It was a real ‘AHA’ moment when i came here and realized: "Hey, here’s a company practically on our doorstep, right on the waterfront in a cool office, working with Microsoft technology and driving its development as a key player in the market and industry." [...] That was definitely an "aha moment" for me, where I thought, "Why didn’t I notice this before? [...]"

Jenning Hinz - Junior Consultant
Take on responsibility right from the star

I came here through a mandatory internship as part of my media engineering course at Kiel University of Applied Sciences. [...] I then completed my three-month internship at TRASER where I was given a lot of responsibility and even managed my own projects. I was then offered a position as a working student. In the meantime, I wrote my bachelor’s thesis at the company and have now completed it. I’m now doing the trainee program to gain a full understanding of the processes so I don’t just follow instructions in development but also grasp the purpose behind what I’m building. […]

Questions & Answers

Frequently asked questions

Are we assigned to a team, or can we choose one?

Typically, team assignments are made in advance. However, once you’re here as a trainee and we get a better sense of your strengths and interests, we’ll make sure to consider your preferences as well. This often makes it clear which team is the best fit!

As a consultant trainee, are we assigned a specific area of expertise that we will specialize in later on?

Yes, that’s true! But this will develop over time. Prior knowledge and your own interests often play a key part in finding the right area for you.

Do we have to take a final exam?

There is no final exam. However, for the MB certification, you’ll need to do some extra studying. Don’t worry, it’s manageable and it’s the only "exam stress" you’ll experience during your trainee program!

Is there anything we can do to prepare ourselves before the official start?

It is helpful to have skills in computer science and Business Central, but don’t panic - you can also join our trainee program without prior knowledge. You’ll learn everything you need.😊
